LGBT* Peer Educators

The LGBT* Peer Educator Program provides a unique professional development opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to learn more about the LGBT* community. The Peer Educators are a group of highly knowledgeable LGBT* and dedicated ally students who receive extensive training in cross-cultural communication, presentation skills, and facilitation. They are available to explain complex LGBT* concepts and their day-to-day personal, professional, campus, and classroom experiences in an accessible way.

Consider requesting an LGBT* Peer Educator panel for:

  • Courses including a diversity or LGBT* section
  • Department and committee meetings
  • Diversity events
  • Focus groups, student organization events, and Inclusive Excellence Initiatives
