WSUW has been broadcasting from the UW-Whitewater campus since 1966. Found on 91.7 FM, the stations is picked up in the surrounding areas of Whitewater including Palmyra, Fort Atkinson, East Troy and Watertown. Involvement opportunities include on-air DJs, on-air news reporters, equipment technicians, executive board positions, and more. All jobs at WSUW are voluntary except for executive board positions. Cable 19 showcases student video production work. This includes live coverage of intercollegiate sports, news, documentaries, public affairs, entertainment, arts, information, and other types of programming. Students serve on screen as actors, news anchors, reporters, program hosts, announcers and an array of other performance roles. Off screen students contribute as producers, directors, writers, camera operators, sound mixers, graphic designers, multimedia artists, technical directors and other crew members.
