Greetings from the Office of the President

Tom Kind

The Whitewater Student Government (WSG) is an organization on campus that has the power to affect changes on campus and is the most efficient way for changes to happen. The main purpose of WSG is to represent the students of UW-Whitewater. We strive to make the necessary changes on campus to support students needs with an environment designed to support the curiosity, voice, and individuality of each person. It is our goal to continue the lasting tradition of WSG by bringing together students to make campus an inclusive, community based atmosphere. We are the voice for students on campus and off campus in all aspects relating to student life. Whether it be academics, athletics, recreation, safety, or any other area of student concern, WSG will do its absolute best to serve the students we represent. We do not encourage complacency, but rather desire to see a campus where students recognize where things can be improved, and we are the perfect avenue to take action. You can talk to us about issues, aspirations, and ways to improve our campus community by speaking at our weekly Monday meetings at 7 PM in UC 259 during student issues and concerns, or email

I have the great privilege to serve you as the Student Body President, along with my team, Vice President Hogan Veserat, with the rest of the cabinet and senators to improve the campus that we have and to make it greater for the future.
